PARKING BRAKE CABLE

Front and rear cables are linked so that the force applied to the parking brake lever next to the driver’s seat or the pedal is transmitted to the rear wheel brake drums. This cable bears the greatest load among all automotive cables.

TRANSMISSION CABLE

Connects shift lever to transmission gear box in the vehicles with side-mounted engines to transmit shift lever motions with great accuracy free of jars. A piece of control cable is used for automatic transmission vehicles while a pair of two is used for manual transmission vehicles. Forward-backward stroke of the shift lever changes a gear to the other and sideway motion is in the neutral, intermediary motion. Not only vital to transmit the shift lever stroke motion but also in giving good shift feel.
